WKO ("Weekly Knockout") is a skill-based contest, not a form of gambling or wagering. Participation requires knowledge of NFL football, strategic game selection, and predictive skill. Outcomes are determined by the participant's own picks and analysis, not by chance or the efforts of others.
Entry fees are collected to fund the published prize pools. All prize amounts and structures are announced in advance and do not vary based on the number of participants beyond the published tiers. The operator does not take a rake or retain any portion of entry fees designated for prizes.
WKO is designed to qualify for the fantasy/skill contest carve-out under the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), 31 U.S.C. ยง 5361 et seq., because:
Participation is open to legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older).
Restricted States: Residents of the following states are not eligible to participate in paid contests: Washington, Idaho, Hawaii, Nevada, and any other jurisdiction where skill-based contests are prohibited or require licensing not obtained by the operator.
It is the participant's responsibility to ensure that participation is legal in their jurisdiction. The operator reserves the right to block access from restricted states and to void any entries from ineligible participants with a full refund of entry fees.
Entry fees are collected by debit/credit card through Stripe, our sole payment processor, and must be received before a participant's picks are considered valid. Entry fees are non-refundable once the NFL season begins, except in cases of operator cancellation.
All prize amounts are published in advance via the Prize Structure page and the WTAPC Prize Pool configuration. Prize distribution is determined solely by contest performance and published tiebreaker procedures. The operator does not guarantee any specific return on entry fees.
In the event of an NFL season cancellation, postponement, or modification that prevents completion of the contest, the operator reserves the right to prorate prizes based on completed weeks or issue partial refunds at its discretion.
Participants select three (3) NFL games per week across designated prime-time slots: Thursday Night Football, one (1) Sunday game, and Monday Night Football. Picks are submitted through the WKO platform prior to each game's kickoff.
As the knockout format indicates, whichever team Players pick for their Weekly/Sunday team~ that team will no longer be available for the rest of the regular season as a Sunday/Weekly pick.
Scoring is based on W/L Sunday picks record and a total TH/MNF Wins count. Season~long W/L/THMNF standings determine qualification for Regular Season payouts, Postseason qualification, tiebreakers and prize eligibility.
Detailed gameplay rules, tiebreaker procedures, and postseason formats are published on theRules page and are incorporated herein by reference.
The WKO platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The operator is not liable for technical failures, data errors, delayed game information, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation.
The operator reserves the right to modify contest rules, scoring procedures, and prize structures at any time, provided that any material changes to published prize amounts will be communicated to all registered participants in advance.
The operator reserves the right to suspend or terminate any participant's account for fraudulent activity, collusion, multi-accounting, or violation of these Terms.
